Brilliant little piece of metering gear, much more solidly built than I would have expected. As an ableton live user (with very small built in master meter) that’s quite a game changer as I was always mixing a little too quiet in fear of clipping. Now I have a much bigger metering view with tons of preset to get loudness exactly where it needs to be.
Few points for improvement:
-it would be great if the cables were longer, especially power and multi output digital thingy (how are you supposed to extend that?!). My screen and keyboard are on a trolley, how great would it be if the Clarity could get there too?
-control of the unit via plugin (that would be a solution to the previous point, removing the need to physically access the unit for parameter change). Or maybe I’ve missed that?
-slightly more detailed metering options, including fast metering decay, and maybe customisable in size/number of values displayed on a given screen for even more “clarity”.

After having used a plugin meter for many years (after my ££££ RTW meter died!), it's been a joy to have this sat on my console not taking up valuable screen real-estate.
The unit is highly configurable so it can display the parameters most pertinent to your mode of working (mine is mastering) and the scales are user-definable, so it's very flexible.
The display is crisp and clear and can be seen clearly from acute angles.
Sturdy build, looks swish, all-in-all amazing for the price when compared to RTW units!

Really solidly built, heavy metallic case, the price is very very good. I can't believe these are selling for £210, they must be making a loss.
The ballistics of the RTA aren't as detailed as I'd like and don't have an option for a 'fast' metering decay. But you do get a good slow response. The RTA on a Lynx Hilo is much more revealing, allowing you to see quick transients with greater clarity.
Good analysis otherwise, with the radar loudness meter, true peak estimation and the stereoscope.
A useful bit of kit if you work in broadcast too, lots of standards saved as presets.

So far I am really happy with this item. It arrived quickly and easy to set up etc. Seems to be well built.
Fantastic to have all this info on a dedicated screen and being able to press the button for different views.
Yes very happy and a bargain at this price.
Very happy with Bax music and have bought a high end item from them several years ago...

Full metal enclosure, feeling as built like a tank. The VST plugin is easy to use and recognises the device instantly. The layout is customizable and the interface is clean and responsive. This is the one you want to have as your external loudness meter.
