At just 337 mm high, the Granada Drum Cajonito is smaller than a regular cajon. However, as it's made entirely of birch, it still produces a remarkably rich sound. The snare sound is created by two sets of snare wires that are positioned against the back of the frontplate. Furthermore, like its larger siblings, this snare cajon can handle a wide variety of genres. Anything from traditional flamenco music, to acoustic pop or rock gigs, this cajon does it all. What's more, with its gorgeous matte Walnut finish, the cajonito has a great rustic look.
Granada Drum Cajonito: sturdy construction
As we mentioned before, all parts of the cajonito are made of birch. The body is 9 mm thick, the back is 6 mm thick and the frontplate is 2.5 mm thick. All in all, the result is a highly durable construction that can easily carry your weight. Furthermore, its thin frontplate resonates easily, allowing it to produce a beautifully bright sound. Finally, with its compact size, the cajonito is easy to transport, meaning you can take it with you, no matter where you're playing.
