Informations
Rather than simply triggering samples as the keys are struck, the highly progressive Roland LX700 Series digital pianos harness the rich power of PureAcoustic Modeling Technology. Here, the sound of an acoustic grand piano is digitally recreated in real-time, as you play, and in minute detail. As such, the attack of hammers hitting strings and the resonance of a sound box can actually be heard. Further enhanced by a Hammer Action PHD-50 keyboard and three expression pedals, this digital piano not only gives you the same sound, but the same playing feel as a grand piano. And while the upright-style LX705 may be the most affordable model in the LX700 Series, it comes supported by the same potent sound technology, has a more slimline and compact build, a slightly different keyboard, and smaller speaker system. This edition has a Light Oak finish.
The Roland LX705 Digital Piano
The highly detailed and authentic PureAcoustic Modelling technology is acutely sensitive to playing dynamics, so the LX705 will simply sound as expressive as your playing and, aided by the Progressive Damper Action design of the integrated pedals, you're treated to the same responsive feel of the best acoustic pianos. The LX705 provides a total of 324 built-in sounds, including electric pianos, organs, and orchestral sounds, as well as the sound European and American grand piano. Each sound is backed up by unlimited polyphony, and can be enhanced by ambient effects that replicate specific spaces like a small studio, a wide concert hall, or even an immense cathedral.
Superb Sound
The LX705 features an integrated four-speaker sound system that delivers lush, realistic sound with excellent detail across the highest and lowest registers as well as impeccable note resonance. This level of sound quality can also be used to playback audio using the fitted mini-jack port, by coupling Bluetooth capable devices using the built-in Bluetooth module, or by simply plugging in a USB stick loaded with songs. For more private, silent practice, a headphone output has also been provided and features Headphone Acoustic Projection that provides full, enveloping sound, while the USB-B port can be used to connect directly to a computer.
