Taking things further than the first-gen Studio Camera, the integrated battery of the Blackmagic Design Studio Camera 2 has been removed, leaving a more lightweight, mobile camera. The original was already versatile, and the second edition is just as flexible and efficient, guaranteeing astounding quality in every shot. 3G-SDI inputs and outputs have been fitted to provide ultimate live-connection stability, while a large, sun-hooded 10 inch display screen offers an outstanding overview, no matter the location and light conditions.

Ultimate Flexibility for Maximum Mobility

Like the larger editions, the Studio Camera 2 sets you up with essential functions, including Tally-indicators, balanced XLR pots, a talkback function, and 3G-SDI ports. The camera is powered via a 4-pin XLR connection, or for maximum mobility, a V-lock battery can be slotted in, and the controls have been lined up directly below the viewfinder, providing clear, smooth and intuitive navigation. In principle, the Studio Camera 2 has been fitted with a micro four-thirds lens mount, but using adapters, can be converted for use with other lenses, including the B4 ENG lenses.
